Abstract: Accurately localizing threats of interest remains a high priority for today's military. The conventional least-squares time difference of arrival algorithm and a novel biomimetic algorithm will be applied to acoustic transient events to localize points of origin. This report will compare the accuracy of the output of these two signal processing algorithms as it relates to that of truth data.
