Abstract: Software was developed using Python and GNU Radio to control spectrum sensing modules that are part of a distributed sensing network. The modules consist of a low-cost Raspberry Pi single-board computer and an Ettus B205mini Universal Software Radio Peripheral software-defined radio and Message Queue Telemetry Transport network infrastructure. This technical note describes the software that was developed to control the individual sensors.
