Abstract: This guide for AutoMap has been developed to allow researchers on the Social Network Analysis Team to rapidly gain facility when using this complicated, subtle, and powerful software package; to avoid some of the same common problems and pitfalls; and to gain some measure of common method. It is a resource to be used in conjunction with the various users' guides provided with the AutoMap software. This guide has been developed using AutoMap version 2.6.70. It will be revised as AutoMap evolves and as the team gains expertise.
