Abstract: The advancement of wide bandgap semiconductor materials such as silicon carbide (SiC) has made possible devices that exceed the voltage ratings of conventional packages and modules. Therefore, novel high voltage packages and modules must be developed to realize the full potential of these technologies. We report on the fabrication of multiple versions of a 15-kV bridge rectifier module for pulsed-power applications.
