Abstract: This report characterizes GAIAN Database (GaianDB) performance on emulated tactical military networks. The experiment varies link speeds and link latencies to explore the impact of these network metrics on the GaianDB topology. The experiment illustrates that data rate bottlenecks will decrease the number of connections between the nodes on one side and the nodes on the other. This work lays the foundation for further research into the characterization of GaianDB performance on emulated tactical military networks.
