The principal objective of the Army Research
Office's Electronics Program is to generate new fundamental knowledge of
electro-magnetic, photonic, and acoustic devices, systems, and phenomena
in order to provide technological superiority to the Army's future force.
This program will identify and solve the Army's critical basic research
problems where progress has been inhibited by a lack of novel concepts or
fundamental knowledge. Electronics are relevant to nearly all Army
systems. Recently supported electronics research can be divided into
five application areas: Multimodal Sensing, Ubiquitous Communications,
Intelligent Information Technology, Power Electronics, and
Electromagnetic Warfare. Use this link to contact information to find out more about our specific
programs.
