Modifications to Existing SSP Tasks
SSP tasks may be extended for time up to an 18-month period of performance for tasks with an award value of ≤ $750K and up to a 24-month period of performance for tasks with an award value > $750K. See amount under SSP Task Administration Fees.
Tasks may also be modified to increase the level of effort for the current scope as long as the task ceiling is not exceeded ($750K up to 18 months or $1M up to 24 months).
The increased level of effort fee is as follows:
5% for tasks with an increased level of effort amount ≤ $150K and
3% for tasks with an increased level of effort amount >$150K
Scope increases should be submitted as a new SSP task. To modify an existing SSP task order, the SSP Request to Modify form must be submitted through the SSP Portal at https://extranet.aro.army.mil/SSP. The SSP Portal will guide the requestor to determine if any of the following documents are also required:
- Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE)
- Service Contract Approval Forms
- Funding Document (MIPRs, Interagency Agreements, etc)
- COR Certificates
To add incremental funding to an existing task order, only the funding document should be uploaded to the portal.
