The U.S. Army Research Office (ARO) will host an unclassified, virtual HTMDEC Applicants’ Day on 29 July 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EDT) to provide information to potential applicants on the objectives of the Department of Army High-Throughput Materials Discovery for Extreme Conditions (HTMDEC) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) W911NF-21-S-0013. The FOA will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://beta.sam.gov/ and/or to https://www.grants.gov/.

The event will include speakers and panels on Contracting, Long Range Distributed and Cooperative Engagements, Physics of Soldier Protection to Defeat Evolving Threats, Science of Additive Manufacturing for Next Generation Munitions and more. Participants will include representatives from Army Futures Command (AFC), Army Research Office (ARO), Army Contracting Command (ACC) and other government organizations.
Registration will close the evening of July 26, 2021. We cannot accept late or substitute registrations after this date. The Army hosts Applicants’ Days to promote teaming arrangements between researchers, provide potential performers with information on whether and how they might respond to the Government’s research and development solicitations, and to increase efficiency in proposal preparation and evaluation. Therefore, Applicants’ Days are open only to registered potential proposers. This meeting is not open to the general public or members of the media. Attendance is open to individuals who are U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, and foreign nationals.
Attendance at this Applicants’ Day is voluntary and is not required to propose to subsequent solicitations.

A security clearance is not required for participation.
There is no charge for attendance.
