The United States Army held its second Expeditionary Technology Search competition, known as xTechSearch 2.0, to engage with the non-traditional small business sector in Austin, Texas, March 5-6. <read more>

The Army is exploring ways to improve its processes to make it easier for small business to work with the government, so the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command’s Army Research Laboratory, the Army’s corporate research laboratory known as ARL, reached out to small companies to hear recommendations for improvements. As we look for creative solutions to the problems our Army faces today, we look to tech start-ups as innovative thinkers to help fill these critical gaps. <read more>
