E-learning for Researchers
Discover how the Technology Transfer (T2) Office at ARL can support you in taking your ideas to the next level. Learn more about protecting your intellectual property, working with industry partners to further your IP’s development, and putting your IP to work through license agreements, royalties, or starting an IP-based business.
These courses, modules, and webinars can be viewed as part of the larger Researcher Curriculum or individually as needed.
Provide researchers with an overview of the T2 process, both in general and at ARL, information on the benefits of T2 for inventors and the lab, the different roles of researchers in the T2 process, T2 mechanisms at ARL, and links for external resources. Resources for both beginners and T2 experienced researchers are included.
On completion of the curriculum, participants will learn/understand:
•What is Technology Transfer? Why is Technology Transfer important to me and my lab?
•How does Technology Transfer operate within the ARL organization?
•What different roles in the T2 process are available to me, as a researcher?
•What are some of the consequences, benefits, and roadblocks I might encounter in the various roles in the T2 process?
•What mechanisms exist at ARL to help me commercialize my IP?
•Where/how can I learn more about T2 and working with my IP?
