National Security Agency’s Laboratory for Physical Sciences Qubit Collaboratory
The National Security Agency’s Laboratory for Physical Sciences (LPS) in partnership with DEVCOM ARL launched the LPS Qubit Collaboratory (LQC). The LQC pursues disruptive qubit research, innovative workforce development programs, and deep, collaborative partnerships to tackle some of the hardest open problems in quantum information science and technology.
Rapid Explanation, Analysis and Sourcing Online (REASON)
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), in partnership with DEVCOM ARL, aims to develop novel technologies that will enable intelligence analysts to substantially improve the evidence and reasoning in draft analytic reports. Intelligence analysts sort through huge amounts of often uncertain and conflicting information as they strive to answer intelligence questions.

A University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) is a strategic United States Department of Defense (DoD) research program that is associated with a university. UARCs were established to ensure that essential engineering and technology capabilities of particular importance to the DoD are maintained.
